Research Associate, Entropy in binding free energy calculations (Montreal, Canada)
A two-year Research Associate position is expected to be available towards the end of this year in the group of Dr. Enrico O. Purisima at the Biotechnology Research Institute of the National Research Council of Canada in Montreal. The project is centred on a critical study of methods for estimating the entropic contribution to binding free energies from computer simulations. The work will involve an assessment of current techniques as well as the development of novel computational approaches.

Postdoc position in molecular modelling
A postdoc position is available to start in Fall 2009 in the group of Michel Laguerre at IRCB in Bordeaux, France. The project is entitled 'Foldamers against protein-proetin interactions' and aims to exploit aromatic amide foldamers to disrupt the protein-protein interaction of cytokines from their receptor. The project is part of an EU Framework 7 project and is in collaboration with Wurzburg University, Germany and a European Pharma Company.
